I'm a marine ecologist and conservation biologist broadly interested in the relationships between benthic (i.e. seafloor) species and their habitats, with particular interest in the ecological effects of manmade structures. I approach my research with an applied lens, aiming to produce work that informs and guides management and conservation decisions.
I currently a PhD student in the Rassweiler lab at Florida State University. My former experience includes serving as a biologist and educator at the Whale Shark and Oceanic Research Center in Honduras, and biologist and contract manager with the Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission (FWC) Artificial Reef Program.
